But there’s another Chrysler tour, following the same business model, that kicked off Monday and will continue for 19 weeks, with 95 stops, to reveal many more of the manufacturer’s new products.
A press release covering the event shows that the 2011 Chrysler Road Tour started Monday at Continental Auto Systems in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This tour focuses on showing employees, affiliates and suppliers what the new Chrysler has to offer. The tour brings in “product specialists” to showcase everything from the Chrysler Town and Country minivan, a best-seller in past years, to trucks like the 2011 Dodge Durango and Dodge 1500 Ram truck models. The 1500 Ram and similar models are big names in heavy duty trucks, but for some buyers who may not know about the engineering involved, this mobile showroom tour promises to be instructive.
Those with access to the 2011 Chrysler tour can also check out the Chrysler 200 sedan, a new car offering from this maker, though some may have more questions about the 2011 Dodge Charger, a renovated version of a perennially cool muscle car that really tears up the road. Lest customers forget about the integral deal of recent months between Chrysler and Italian auto company Fiat, attendees will also be able to inspect the new 2012 Fiat 500, a stylish, fuel-efficient subcompact with an appeal of its own.
