2018 Audi Q5 SUV: Enhanced Performance
The 2018 Audi Q5, coming this year, will have a 252hp turbocharged engine that according to Audi will take you from 0 to 60 in 5.9 seconds.
Featuring an interesting power tailgate, the redesigned 2018 Q5 boasts increased cargo capacity and a panoramic sunroof.
Audi’s driver assistance technologies include “Rear Cross Traffic Assist” with optical warnings and radar sensors to let you know about approaching vehicles. “Pre Sense City” detects cornering and stationary vehicles and pedestrians at speeds of up to 52 mph, warns you of imminent collisions and can even initiate emergency braking. The Quattro all-wheel drive system adds predictive, proactive or reactive power shifts depending on road conditions or driver demands.
Audi’s virtual cockpit features a fully digital instrument cluster that customizes information such as navigation, audio and phone, offering classic and infotainment modes as well as Google Earth and Google Street View screens.
Newly available on the 2018 Q5, MMI Touch with handwriting-recognition technology lets you write on the touchpad instead of trying to deal with a keyboard while you drive.
