2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Will Outstrip Hellcat - January 23, 2017
2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Will Outstrip Hellcat
Set to debut at the New York International Auto Show in April, Dodge’s new muscle car reportedly will be faster than the 707 hp 2015 Challenger Hellcat.
This new version of the Challenger is named Demon, and the teaser vids on Dodge’s website feature very cool and ferocious demon-cat imagery. Tim Kuniskis of Dodge has described the Demon audience as a “subculture of enthusiasts” and it’s not yet clear whether the Demon will be a street car or strictly track-only.
2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat
Dodge first used the Demon name in 1971 for a hardtop, two-door variant of the Plymouth Duster that eventually became the Dodge Dart. A 2007-2008 Dodge concept car also called Demon was never built.
