New Electric Cars on the Horizon
The Faraday Future FF91, originally scheduled for early 2017, has been pushed back again. This is an ultimate tech concept car that will reportedly open the door for you when it recognizes your face. It has a record-breaking range of 434 miles on one charge, and claims the fastest acceleration, too: 0-60 in 2.39 seconds.
Faraday Future just announced, underwhelmingly, that the FF91 will cost “less than $300,000.” The company is accepting deposits of $5,000 now.
As battery technology improves and tech features like autonomous driving and voice assistants become more desirable to the average driver, electric cars are getting closer to the mainstream, but the Faraday Future FF91 clearly does not fall into the mainstream category.
