Chevrolet’s New Cruze Compact Will Hit U.S. Market in 2010
GM announced today that it will introduce a new compact car named the Cruze at the Paris Motor Show in October, reports Cars.com.
The Cruze will be a five-passenger car, similar to the Chevy Cobalt sedan. It will more than likely have a similar design as the popular Malibu sedan.
It is rumored that the Cruze will be built at GM’s Lordstown, Ohio plant, where the Cobalt is currently built. There’s no word yet if the Cruze will replace the Cobalt or be an additional vehicle in Chevrolet’s lineup.
The Chevrolet Cruze will be sold in Europe in the spring of 2009, and then it will be sold in the U.S. in mid-2010 as a 2011 model.
