NADAGuides Gives 2011 Chrysler 300 “Car of the Month” for July
This just in: the award from NADAguides for July’s “Car of the Month” goes to the Chrysler 300, a full size sedan from the makers of Jeep and other modern products that has been gathering momentum in this year’s market. A press release Thursday announced that this car started out 2011 with a bang, becoming one of the sites “20 most researched vehicles” and getting interest from reviewers.
In dubbing the 2011 Chrysler 300 a top buy, NADAguides experts have provided a lot of reasons to look at this car. There’s the spacious cabin, good handling and performance (especially with the bigger engine), and style to burn. The Chrysler 300 also offers a “plethora” of features (yes, they used that word) including Bluetooth, touchscreen radio and an Alpine sound system with SiriusXM capability. On the driving side, there’s a variety of park sensors and other gear that will add to the driving experience, bringing the 2011 Chrysler 300 into the general realm of the luxury car. The car is also a top safety pick, partly because of Chrysler’s SafetyTek system that includes ultramodern items like forward collision warning and blind spot monitoring abilities. The 2011 Chrysler 300 gets accolades from the IIHS and other sources for competitive safety overall; headlights and body design also compliment the high-tech safety features.
While the evident glory of the 2011 Chrysler 300 sedan is enough to swing some buyers, this is not one of today’s bargain vehicles. NADA cites the standard MSRP of just over $27,000 for the base model that runs on a 3.6L V6 block with 292 horsepower. The V8 version commands the outsized price tag of $40,320 according to NADA – of course, the buyer gets a Hemi V8 offering 363 HP at 5200 rpm, which is much more than you’d need to get somewhere, and enough to really get down the road in style.
If you’re going to shell out for the 2011 Chrysler 300 or one of these late model designs, it’s a good idea to check with your local dealer, as well as other lenders, about optimal interest rates, as well as deals, rebates or incentives, for this car. Especially when you’re buying the high-performance V8, even a slight change in auto financing can put significant money back in your pocket. Know the value of your trade-in and think about how one of these new cars will hold its value in order to get an equitable deal at a lot near you.
