2013 Ford Fiesta Wins Women’s World Car of The Year
The 2013 Ford Fiesta won the Women’s World car of the year for 2013. Voted the best car of the year by a panel of female writers, the Fiesta equipped with the 1.0-liter Ecoboost turbocharged engine was found to have the best blend of the attributes women look for when buying a car.
Women’s World’s rating system called on a panel of 18 writers to submit cars that they had reviewed and had all of the things women want in a car. Cars were rated on their safety, value, aesthetic appearance, storage space, child-friendliness, ease of driving, color, sex appeal and how environmentally friendly it is, according to Autoblog. Once a shortlist had been created from the suggestions of the writers, they voted on the best and found that the Fiesta’s fuel economy, value and technology put it above all the other cars in consideration.
The 2013 Ford Fiesta was the winner of the small car category as well as the overall winner. The Mazda CX-5 was chosen as the best SUV, the Range Rover the best Luxury Car, the Porsche Boxster S the best sports car and the Audi Allroad was the family car of the year.
