2015 Chevy Silverado Rally Edition – The Factory Bro Truck
The 2015 Chevy Silverado Rally Edition has been revealed and if you started salivating at the article title hoping for a competitor to the Ford Raptor and Ram Runner, sorry. The Chevy Silverado Rally Edition will be a truck more in touch with the current customization trends than most factory options with black 22-inch wheels, a black accented grill and black mirrors, side steps and door handles. If they blacked out the lights and the front grill it would be in full bro truck mode but I guess Chevy wants to keep the custom shops in business.
The Rally name seems more of a throwback to the Rally trim lines Chevy sold in the muscle car days than an actual reference to the offroad racing sport. The Rally will be available in any trim line of Silverado 1500 double-cab in September and in crew cabs in October. The Rally 1 package will include the black body modifications along with 17 inch wheels and a trailering package and will cost $540. The Rally 2 package will only be available on LT models and will add dual zone climate control, backup camera, remote start and Chevy MyLink with an 8 inch touchscreen.
