2015 Chevy SS Will Have Manual Transmission Option
How many times have you found yourself driving along, operating the gas and brake pedals with your right leg, and thinking ‘boy I sure do wish old lefty didn’t feel so left out.’ People with two legs rejoice! The 2015 Chevy SS will give you something to do with your left leg while you’re driving besides stomping along to ‘We Will Rock You.’
The 2015 Chevy SS will get the option of a six-speed manual transmission, making it a real four-door sports (not that a sports car needs to have a stick shift in order to qualify, just that without that the SS was a big comfy sedan that was closer to a grandpa car than a four-door Camaro.
In addition to the manual transmission, the 2015 Chevy SS will have Magnetic Ride Control standard, rear Brembo brakes to match the fronts, and OnStar 4G LTE with a built in Wi-Fi hot sport.
The automatic Chevy SS does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and Chevy says that the manual transmission will be even quicker thanks to the 3.70 rear axle, according to Autoweek.
