Aston Martin Releases a Second Teaser Shot For the Upcoming One-77
When this car finally does come out, it will be Aston Martin’s definitive flagship model. Even though all we get are the ambiguous teaser shots which are so in vogue nowadays, we know this will be one special British supercar. Only 77 of the One-77s will be actually built, making this one heck of an exclusive car. With an asking price of a cool $1 million, it won’t be for everyone either. Still, for a lot of dough, you’re going to get a heck-of-a-lot of Aston Martin.
First off, it will feature an exclusive carbon monoque chassis (ala’ Formula-1) with lightweight aluminum body panels and active aerodynamics systems. Power is expected to come from a 7.3-liter V12 making north of 700-hp and with a top speed well in excess of 200 mph. No word yet on what transmission will harness all that power, but expect a choice of a 6-speed manual and some sort of fancy auto-manual gearbox, possibly one of those dual-clutch jobbies. Expect the full car’s unveiling at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show. Until then, all we get is this teaser shot.
Why do you tease me so badly?
