Dodge Ram Gets New Incentive: 0% Financing for 6 Years
Chrysler LLC announced Thursday it will offer zero percent financing for six years on its 2008 Dodge pickups in an effort to help boost sales.
The zero percent financing offer applies to the 2008 Dodge Ram Light Duty Quad and 2008 Dodge Ram Mega Cab, according to Chrysler. The company will be launching a redesigned version of the Dodge Ram pickup truck for the 2009 model year.
Chrysler, in addition to the new incentive, is also offering thousands of dollars in cash incentives on the Ram truck. The offer, available only through Chrysler Financial, runs through July 31.
Chrysler’s June sales dropped 36 percent. Competitors GM and Ford also have similar truck incentives in place, as all three automakers are struggling in the sector and are trying to sell more 2008 models before the 2009 trucks hit the showrooms.
