GM to Extend Employee Discount an Extra Month
GM is expected to extend its employee discount for all incentive for one more month, reports the Detroit News. So far, it seems the incentive has helped GM clear out inventory of trucks and SUVs and helped boost the company’s August sales.
The incentive began Aug. 20 as part of GM’s 100th anniversary celebration and was scheduled to end Tuesday.
GM’s employee discount for everyone applies to all 2008 vehicles in stock, except for medium-duty trucks. The 2009 vehicles eligible for the discount pricing are the Chevrolet Cobalt and HHR, Pontiac Vibe and G5 and Cadillac CTS.
