Tiger Woods’ Cadillac Escalade to be Auctioned

Are you wondering what will happen to the now famous black 2009 Cadillac Escalade that Tiger Woods crashed into a fire hydrant and tree in his Orlando neighborhood?

GM reportedly owns the SUV, along with several others the automaker gave Woods through an agreement they made after his promotional role with Buick ended, Drive On (USA Today) reports. Through the deal, GM loaned Woods several vehicles for his personal use.

Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell told Drive On the Escalade will be repaired because it’s a promotional vehicle that is used for advertising and photo ops. After that, it could go back to being a promotional vehicle, it could stay with GM for internal use or it could be sold.

Drive On said they expect the SUV is worth a lot more in its damaged condition than it would be if repaired. The MSRP on a 2010 Escalade ESV Platinum Edition currently tops out at $86,680. Caldwell said the Escalade will most likely be sold.

If Cadillac sold Tiger Woods’ Escalade through an auction, they would definitely get a lot more than that for it. GM recently emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, so the automaker could use the money. The team votes that GM auctions the damaged SUV to the highest bidder and make some money off Tiger’s transgressions.

Where do you think Tiger was heading that night? Maybe to Perkins restaurant to see Mindy Lawton? Or was he going to Hooters to see Cori Rist? Maybe to L.A. to meet up with porn star Holly Sampson? Maybe Tiger was going to New York to see Rachel Uchitel. Or was he was going to get a drink from Las Vegas cocktail waitress Jamie Jungers or L.A. cocktail waitress Jamie Grubbs? Maybe while in Vegas he wanted to meet up with night club executive Kalika Moquin. Tiger’s affairs could now be GM’s financial win if they decide to auction off the Escalade.
