Volkswagen Introducing Free Maintenance Program in 2009
VW will add a free Carefree Maintenance Program to its 2009 models. This will cover all scheduled maintenance for the duration of the three-year/36,000 mile warranty. This will only cover three services at the 10,000, 20,000 and 30,000 mile intervals.
Currently, VW’s new car warranty for its 2008 models is for four years or 50,000 miles. With the added free maintenance program, VW has also reduced the new car warranty for its 2009 models to three years or 36,000 miles.
