2014 Acura ILX Upgraded With Heated Leather Seats, Active Noise Cancellation
The Acura ILX went on sale in 2013, so it might be a bit surprising that it has been updated already with new features including standard leather seats and active noise cancellation.
The 2014 Acura ILX will get standard heated leather seating for this year along with leather door surfaces, an eight-way power driver’s seat, new 17-inch wheels and a multi-angle rearview camera. The audio system in the 2014 ILX has also been upgraded with a standard subwoofer and an active noise cancellation system.
There is a reason that the ILX is getting upgrades after just one year on the market, the ILX shares a platform with the 2012 Civic that was panned by reviewers and updated for the 2013 model year. The 2013 Civic was upgraded but the 2013 ILX was already in production and didn’t get the same updates, according to Autoblog. So for last year, the 2013 Acura ILX wasn’t a huge upgrade over the 2013 Civic and Acura had do fix that.
