2014 Infiniti Q50 Pricing Starts at $37,605

Infiniti has announced that the 2014 Q50 pricing will start at $37,605. The 2014 Infiniti Q50 will replace the G37 as Infiniti’s entry level model, competing with the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The Q50 name will be the first Infiniti model to do away with the engine size-based naming that Infiniti currently uses. The base Q50 will come with rear wheel drive, the all-wheel drive Q50 will start at $39,405.

Infiniti previously said that the 2014 Q50 would have a turbocharged four-cylinder engine as an option, but apparently that engine won’t be available at launch. The only gasoline-only engine available on the Infiniti Q50 for 2014 will be a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 328-horsepower. The Q50 will use a seven-speed automatic transmission. A 2014 Q50 Hybrid will also be available with highway fuel economy of 36-miles per gallon powered by a 3.5-liter V6 and an electric drive that combine for 354-horsepower and will start at $44,855.

According to Autoblog, Infiniti had previously announced that the Q50 would start at $36,540, but that price was apparently only valid on pre-ordered models. Standard sales will cost over $1,000 more. That’s a small price to pay to be able to test drive and inspect the car before you buy it.
