28-MPG 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid to Start At $35,970
Nissan has released specs on the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid. The hybrid crossover will be powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with only 10 fewer horsepower than the V6 model and will start at $35,970.
The 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid will have 250-horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque from its 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine and electric motor. Thanks to the Nissan Intelligent Dual Clutch System, the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid is able to use power from both the gasoline engine and the electric motor at the same time. The Pathfinder Hybrid will get 25-mpg city and 28-mpg highway, a big jump from the 20-mpg city, 26-mpg highway the gas model Pathfinder gets.
That gas mileage doesn’t come for free, the base 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid will start at $35,970, with the SL trim starting at $38,910 and the Platinum model will start at $43,610.
