GM Certified Used Offers Low Auto Loan Rate Incentive

GM Certified Used Vehicles is offering well-qualified buyers auto loan rates as low as 1.9 percent through GMAC Financial Services on the Chevy Impala and Pontiac G6.

GM Certified Used offered a similar car loan incentive April through June 1, but it was at 3.9 percent and was for the G6 and Malibu, so this time around, the offer is more enticing.

The auto loan incentive is good on 2005-2010 Chevrolet Impalas at 1.9, 2.9 or 3.9 percent, now through June 30, 2010. If you prefer a Pontiac, 2005-2010 Pontiac G6s are available with 1.9 percent financing through January 3, 2011.

The average interest rate on used vehicles across all credit categories was 9.27 percent in the fourth quarter of 2009, according to Experian Automotive. GM’s 1.9 to 3.9 percent incentive is a really good deal if you qualify.

"The G6 is a great buy for parents looking for the first car for their recent graduate and the Impala is an excellent choice for anyone who is looking for a great mid-size car that’s fuel efficient," said Paul Pejza, manager, GM Certified Used Vehicles, in a statement. "This is a perfect time to take advantage of low financing rates on cars customers know are reliable and provide peace of mind."

All GM Certified Used Vehicles come with a fully transferable five-year or 100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty, a 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, 117-point inspection, 24-hour roadside assistance and 3-month trial of OnStar and XM Satellite Radio. All models are six years old or newer, have 75,000 miles or less and go through a 117-point inspection and reconditioning process.
