Dodge Releases a Ringer on the SEMA Crowd

As if the Challenger wasn’t attention-grabbing enough in its awesome orange paint job, the folks at Dodge have gone one better. At this year’s SEMA show, the company will unveil a beast of a concept.

Called the Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept, this new tricked-out ride is all business. First of all, let me tell you there’s a good reason this one is called the SRT10. In fact, there are ten good reasons, each attached to a massive piston inside the Viper-supplied 8.4-liter(!!!) V10 that powers this beast. It’s a massively powerful engine that’s rated at 600-hp and 560ft-lbs of tire-melting torque. Hoorah!

The concept is also fitted with special wheels, a wicked hood scoop on top of its carbon fiber hood, Bilstien shocks, upgraded brakes and some special interior trim. Up front, a special "lip" juts from the bottom of the front bumper and is attached by struts to give this the look of something that will need the extra downforce to stay earthbound. With 600 ponies under the hood, that’s quite a possibility.

You’ve got to admit, it looks the business.
