2014 Toyota 4Runner Starts at $32,820, The Last Midsize Body On Frame SUV Gets a Remake
Toyota has announced pricing on the updated 2014 4Runner, and the SR5 model will be available starting for $32,820. The 2014 Toyota 4Runner, which was revealed at the Stagecoach music festival, is the last full sized body on frame SUV left in the $30,000 range, all of the competitors have switched to crossover-style unibody construction (the Chevy Tahoe starts at $41,600 and the Ford Expedition starts at $41,180 and both are larger than the 4Runner).
The 2014 Toyota 4Runner SR5 comes standard with two-wheel drive, 17-inch wheels and an infotainment system. Four wheel drive costs an extra $2,920 on the SR5. The 2014 Toyota 4Runner Trail starts at $35,725 and has four-wheel drive with multi-terrain response system, hill start assist, crawl control for offroading all standard and an optional system that disconnects sway bars automatically. A Premium Package with imitation leather seats, navigation, a sunroof and a power passenger seat costs an extra $2,920 on SR5 and Trail models.
The top of the line 4Runner will be the Limited, which will start at $41,364 for a two-wheel drive model and $43,400 for four-wheel drive. Heated and ventilated leather seats, as well as the optional X-REAS suspension system.
All Toyota 4Runner models will be powered by Toyota’s 4.0-liter V6 engine with 270-horsepower mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
