Acura Announces Pricing For its 2009 TL
Acura has recently posted the official prices of its new 2009 TL sports sedan. The TL will start at a base price of $35,715, including a $760 destination charge. That amounts to a $1,230 increase over the outgoing 2008 Acura TL, which started at $34,485, including shipping.
The all-wheel-drive 2009 Acura TL will hit showrooms soon after its front-wheel-drive brothers. The base AWD model will start at $39,265 and a top-of-the-line 2009 TL SH-AWD with technology package, 19-inch alloy wheels and high-performance summer tires starts at $43,995. The FWD 2009 TL with the technology package will start at $39,445. The technology package includes the Acura navigation system with real-time traffic, weather radar mapping, Acura/ELS surround premium audio system, keyless access with push-button ignition and interior upgrades.
All models will be powered by differently-tuned versions of the same V6 engine. The base TL gets a standard 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 280 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque linked to a five-speed automatic transmission. The uplevel TL SH-AWD gets the 3.7-liter V6 that makes 350 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. Look for these new Acura’s to be in dealer showrooms nationwide by September 24th.
