Tony Hawk’s Mini Cooper Countryman John Cooper Works
Tony Hawk bought a 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman John Cooper Works this week. His first act after getting the John Cooper Works Countryman was to pick a name with the help of 10,000 friends and fans on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Tony Hawk’s Countryman JCW will be named “Maximillion” in honor of the founder of the Gumball 3000 celebrity cross country run Max Cooper.
The 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman John Cooper Works starts at $34,850, which makes it the most expensive Mini Cooper on sale today. Even if Tony Hawk got every option on his John Cooper Works Countryman which would bring the price to over $47,000, that would still be frugal compared to the $300,000 cars some professional athletes drive.
With 208-horsepower and a 3,200-lb curb weight, the Tony Hawk’s Mini Cooper Countryman John Cooper Works isn’t exactly a supercar, but with all-wheel drive and a raised ride height, the JCW Countryman will get Tony wherever he needs to go.
