Toyota’s July new car incentives continue to be attractive for shoppers, whether you prefer car loans or auto leases. Shoppers can take advantage of 0 percent and low auto loan rates, low monthly lease payments and free maintenance.
Toyota‘s 0 percent auto loan rate incentive in July is good on the Prius, Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Matrix, Venza, RAV4, Highlander, Tacoma and Tundra. Remember that you’ll need a prime credit score of usually 720 or higher to qualify for the 0 percent rate through Toyota. If you don’t qualify, you might qualify for the 1.9, 2.9 or 3.9 percent that Toyota is also offering. Your credit score, length of the car loan and total loan amount, among other things, will all determine what interest rate you receive.
The 2011 Toyota Camry can be leased with $0 due at signing in July for $269 a month.
Toyota is also offering low monthly lease payments ranging from $119 to $349 on 10 models in July. You’ll need anywhere from $2,834 to $3,899 at lease signing, depending on the vehicle. The 2011 Camry LE can be leased for $269 a month for 36 months with $0 due at signing.
One important factor for lessees to consider is that some Toyota models only require a credit score of 650 to lease, while others require a 720. For example, the Corolla and Matrix are the only two models that require a 650 to lease while the rest require a 720. Check Toyota’s website to see which auto leases you’ll qualify for before you apply for financing, since every denial hurts your credit score.
Toyota is still offering its two-year complementary maintenance program in July for all its models, including Scion. The program gives buyers a coupon book for all scheduled maintenance and includes things like oil changes and tire rotations, but doesn’t cover things like brake pads and wiper blades.
Scion only offers lease incentives in July and the credit score requirement is 650. The xB is $199 and the xD is $187 a month for 36 months. You’ll need about $850 at lease signing. The Scion tC can be leased for $256 a month for 36 months in July, with $900 due at signing.
Lexus doesn’t have any incentives listed on its site for July. Check your local Lexus dealer for offers, as most of the time, there are special lease deals on several Lexus models. You’ll need several thousand dollars at lease signing, and monthly payments are generally in the $400 and up range.
