What Will Happen To Paul Walker in Fast and Furious 7?
When Paul Walker tragically died in a crash after the Porsche Carrera GT he was a passenger in lost control, filming for the Fast and Furious 7 was half way through. Universal Pictures was unsure of whether to proceed with the movie without Walker, who has starred in five of the six Fast and Furious movie.
Universal has decided that Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner won’t die in the Fast and Furious series. Instead, the character will be written off in a way that will be satisfying to fans of the franchise and still respectful of Walker, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The director of Fast 7 got together with a writer and Universal’s lead executive for the Fast and Furious films a few weeks after Walker’s death and determined that the existing script could be rewritten so that Paul’s character could stay part of the story but still be written out.
The Fast 7 film will still be released and will still star Paul Walker in his final role, fans will be happy to hear. The film will be delayed just eight months from its original release date.
