Mercedes-Benz Praised by J.D. Power For Its Customer Service

Mercedes-Benz USA was recognized by J.D. Power and Associates at its Customer Service Roundtable in Las Vegas as a J.D. Power 2011 Customer Service Champion. The automaker is one of only 40 companies across many different industries, not just automotive, to be named to the list this year.

"This is an important confirmation of the extraordinary effort we have undertaken with our dealer partners over the past few years to ensure that we are delivering the very best experience to our customers," said Ernst Lieb, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA.

J.D. Power and Associates said it looked at more than 800 brands’ key customer "touch points", including people, presentation, process, product and price, to determine which companies to name to its Customer Service Champion list.

Mercedes-Benz, as well as the other 39 honorees, must also excel within their own industries and stand out among leading brands in 20 major industries. J.D. Power also evaluated customer feedback, opinions and perceptions. Forty brands were then chosen as the highest-performing companies that deliver service excellence to U.S. customers.

In March, Mercedes-Benz is offering buyers 1.9 percent auto loan financing on select new vehicles. Shoppers who prefer leasing can take advantage of numerous auto lease incentives across the Mercedes-Benz lineup this month.
